We had almost the same thing happen a few weeks ago with our dog and a cicada. He didn’t hold it in his mouth for nearly as long as the dog in the video though – he didn’t care for the buzzing feeling. After he spit it out he kept poking it with his nose, trying to figure out what the heck it was. I’m sure he was thinking it was just a big fly.
