Maybe I'll finally succumb in Wave Seven. Or whatever.

Covid is more like measles than chicken-pox. Measles suppresses your immune system for months after recovering from it and its looking like Covid 19 does something similar.
That is, Covid makes you more likely to die of things other than Covid for some time after you’ve recovered.
So, best not to get infected in the first place.
Wife, kiddo, and I all succumbed in Jan of last year. Variety of symptom severities. From me: meh, tickle cough. To my wife: hit her like tonne of bricks and she didn’t get out of bed for a week.
