It took several hours, but I managed to un-brick my Apple TV and fix all my iDevices. There's still some issues (Apple ID is a creation of Satan... except, unlike the devil, Apple doesn't give you tech support in exchange for your immortal soul), but at least everything is mostly working as it should.
Yay.
Now I need a drink.
Sometimes being a Certified Apple Whore is a lot more work than it should be.

Glad it worked out in the end! I remembered I had to update my AppleTV and iMac after reading your post, so I did it expecting the worst… Let me tell you when I saw that fast blinking light on the AppleTV, I got a little scared.
So in my case, it went well with 4/5 iDevices. 😉
Salut!
I’m at 4/4 so far, with the only minor upgrade issue being that my apps got scattered on my iPhone. I’m pretty sure this was because I started moving the new Apple apps while it was still restoring my purchased apps in the background.
Still have my MBP and my wife’s iPad 2 to go.
Oh, I thought of another issue. Enabling iCloud on my iMac converted all of my calenders from local to iCloud calendars, which wasn’t good as they are really synced Google calendars via BusySync. Fixing this was trivial though — just had to delete the iCloud calendars and resubscribe to the Google calendars.
Nice that it is mostly back to normal.
