Boxing people?
Oh hellsyeah, here is where I TOTALLY get to make my list and check it twice!

Oh! Great idea. The boys need to use up some energy today. We’ll dig out the boxing gloves!
(And then, I’ll tell them the official meaning of the day, and maybe when we’re out and about shopping, we’ll drop a “couple ha’pennies in the old man’s hat” to pay homage to the English tradition.)
Boxing as in taking leftover Christmas stuff and either putting in boxes for one’s servants or taking it out of boxes if you happen to be a servant, employee or shopper. Boxing Day sales are awesome! I’d never heard of Black Friday until a year ago, this is kinda like that.
Appropriately enough (I think) I saw “The Fighter” yesterday. Outstanding performance by Christian Bale. Happy Boxing Day, Dave!
I actually bought some boxes on Boxing Day. Mostly to store non-holiday items.
I like Bad Monkey’s version better.
