After having been to Mardi Gras once in my life, there's a part of me that wants to experience Fat Tuesday again...
Either that, or I just want a piece of King Cake.

I’ve been to New Orleans three times, but never during Mardi Gras. I’m really not big on crowds and my favorite part of New Orleans were all the little hidden restaurant/bars we found by doing a little research. All off the beaten path.
I just don’t think I would like Mardi Gras.
If I would have left a week earlier, I would have seen Mardi Gras in Louisiana. Then again, eh…that would probably make me all nuts and stuff. 🙂
Like Earl, I’d like Mardi Gras if I didn’t have to be in the crowd, like, if I was up in a kickass apartment with a balcony.
There’d be boobs shown, probably.
Otherwise, the crowd itself would kill me.
Going to Mardi Gras is on my list of things to do before I shuffle off this mortal coil.
You just want to be the “king of cakes”
I ordered a King Cake from a bakery in Louisiana. We devoured it and jambalaya from the safety of our dining room. Then, the kids ran around the house in paper crowns and beads and Ty-man taught them how to say “Show me your pretties!” for beads.
We’re going to hell and didn’t need to go to NOLA to do it, either.
We just got back from New Orleans last night, had a great time as always. The energy from the Saints’ win just bumped it up a notch. Now if I could just sleep for a week or so…
I love the bling you designed…I could’ve used that last weekend.
