Well, this is it. The last day before five months of non-stop adventure, fun, and excitement.
Sixteen flights. Eight car trips. Six train ride. Five rental cars. Heaven only knows how many hotels, shuttles, taxis, and subways.
That I know of.Some of my trips are open-ended to include the possibility of adding even more madness to my schedule. I am going to be one busy monkey...
I've done my best to organize my time and make sure everything is taken care of, but mentally there's just no way to prepare for what lies ahead.
Which is not to say that I'm not excited about some things that are coming up...
This Saturday is Daveattle 2!
If you are planning on attending Seattle's premiere blogger meet-up this year, please send me an email at email@example.com so I can forward the details.
And now, if you'll excuse me, it's time to pack my suitcase...
I love comments! However, all comments are moderated, and won't appear until approved. Are you an abusive troll with nothing to contribute? Don't bother. Selling something? Don't bother. Spam linking? Don't bother.
I think Daveattle would be a blast. Not just because it’s another chance to hang with you, but because I’ve never been to the PacNW. I want to go there so desperately.
5 months? Holy crap.
I think that’s even too much “adventure” for me.
I have enjoyed very much the comments you made on the shows today and tonight. I decided to join on the fun! You have the grandest sense of humor.
Keep me informed when Dave Lake City 2 will be happening. If you can make it on the dates you emailed me, we will make it a party to remember.
DAMN….I’m in Seattle later on Sunday…..always a day late, dollar short, and one-day-away-from-the-sexy-hottness-that-is-Dave.
Jealous! Get some rest before you go; sounds like you’ll need it. Safe trips!
Five months? WOW!!! I can hardly believe you added another trip to that mix, but we’re so blessed that you decided to join the Ninja and me on our special day. Good luck on your adventures and we’ll see you soon! XOXOX
don’t forget to pack the pudding!
oh, hell…that’s sounds naughty
Coming back to Norway, then, are ya? Air mattress all ready for you!
For some reason some of my comments aren’t making it to your blog. Either you think I suck or I am messing something up somewhere. But I AM commenting, I AM!
YAY Daveattle 2, how will I survive the week while waiting in anticipation?
aww i wish i lived closer to all the dave-vents but i don’t. i am hoping to make it to a few of the ones closer to me.
May I have my zombie shirt, please?
It’s being printed at the end of the month. I will ship it the first chance I get when I’m home in-between trips!
Have a great time in Seattle, Dave. Love that city, that’s for sure.
Sound like a long, long travel itinerary. I’ll see you come Saturday come hell or highwater. Thanks for the details. I may bring a friend, Kim, with me if that’s ok.
Just think of all the money you saved by booking now! With gas prices increasing, (insert some doom and gloom about economy, falling dollar and blamimg Bush)
I do hope you have less swollen tongue this round.
What does Seattle have to do with football?
Avitable… More than they have to do with basketball, if the supreme court ruling favor’s the Seattle Sonic’s owner over the city of Seattle.
Wayne… You know, it’s alarmists like you that panic citizens and create the problems to begin with. So don’t blame Bush… blame people like yourself and the liberal media for spreading lies! Obviously, there is nothing wrong with our economy and everything is just fine. I can only guess that it’s your agenda to smear Bush (specifically), and Republicans (generally), in some feeble hope of ensuring that an experienced and trusted leader like McCain doesn’t get elected as our next president. Well thank you very much for destroying America! I hope reading this reply didn’t cut into your flag-burning and drug-smoking time you hippie bastard! You might as well be a communist! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to get back to FOX News…
That monkey looks ready. Really dig that toon. Biplanes, woohoo!
I’m sooo incredibly envious of your hectic schedule and the extensive travel. That is AWESOME! I’m sure you’ll have an absolute blast – you just seem like the kind of guy that will find something interesting/cool to do or see wherever you are :).
*Sigh* Two years and four months left until I get my RN and can start doing the traveling nurse thing. It seems like forever, but I’m sure it will come soon enough!
PS: I LOVE Seattle. Once I’m finished with school, I’ll be at one of your events — unless you plan on one a little closer to Colorado; in which case, I could easily drive wherever. Have fun meeting all the uber-cool bloggers that will be there! 🙂
So, based on your comment to Wayne, your gay cartoon realization really brought some, er, light to your purpose on Earth, eh?
Don’t forget your pen thingy, Dave. Can’t wait to read about your adventures.
I’m normally just a lurker here, but I just had to point out, since you’re going to be in Seattle this weekend, that the Solstice Fair/Parade will be happening here this weekend…are you going to go see the naked bike riders? I feel like everyone should experience that at some point in their lives.
Also, on a completely unrelated note, your comments are displaying weirdly for me…the icons/pictures are hanging over the first bit of text. I don’t know if it’s just me or not.
Have a safe odyssey!
I’m thinking of moving back to Seattle, but not by June 21st.
Looking forward to hearing about the adventures, and hey!, you’ll have to come to Australia now too!
