Paris

Posted on Friday, June 15th, 2007

Dave! It's 11:45, I just finished with work for the night, and the only thing I have to blog about is how worried I am about Paris Hilton.

It's been hours since I have read anything about her in the news or seen anything about her on television. This kind of withdrawal from the daily exploits of her life is very disconcerting, and I'm not sure what to do with myself. I think it's grossly unfair that she doesn't at least get a weekly video address to her fans from prison. Sure she did something bad, and I suppose it's only fair she be punished... but should all of us be punished along with her? What did I do to deserve this kind of treatment?

Paris Hilton Hero
I so totally (heart) Paris! FREE PARIS!

The good news is that Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie finally made up and are all totally BFFs again, so they filmed another season of The Simple Life. Unfortunately, I have to wait until Monday to see the latest episode...

Simple Life 5

It's not as good as being able to open up the current issue of People and seeing what Paris has been up to lately... but I guess it's all I'm going to get until the grave miscarriage of justice that is her imprisonment has been reversed and Paris is free to party again.

Sigh.

I haven't been this upset since they took Michael Jackson from us during his imprisonment back in 2003.

See?? Where were YOU when she tried the defense of “Don’t put me in jail, because I’m beautiful, and I save people from the boring existence of their everyday lives”??

    You could’ve SAVED her, Dave!!

  2. Suzy says:

My friend Allan made the vid that has had 4 million hits in a week. The most downloaded vid in the world, according to youtube stats. This is why I love comedians.

  3. karla says:

My life has felt incomplete since she went into the slammer.
I’ve actually had to obsess about a different celebrity. Have you SEEN Posh lately? OMFG!
It’s been horrible, switching my obsession, and I feel very unfaithful.

  4. Kyra says:

Ok, this post seriously freaks me out. I feel similar to how I felt as a child watching Nightmare on Elm Street for the first time.

  5. Karl says:

Dude, the stock in your endorsements is plummeting.

  6. Avitable says:

It’s like Anna Nicole. Just because she’s dead, do we all have to die too?

  7. Wayne Hall says:

Maybe they’ll launch a spinoff called ‘The Prison Life’. Or ‘The Prison Wife’.

  8. Did I miss something? I don’t recall Jacko ever being jailed!

In all seriousness, at least I know could always whip out my crazy card and swap it for a ‘get out of jail free’ one!

  9. Jeff says:

    Ooh, this post was hot.

  10. hannita says:

    Sometimes you scare me.

  11. Lewis says:

I think you should stop staying up quite so late at night…..maybe a little more sleep? Better food (Reese’s isn’t going to cut it…..although served between two graham crackers with marshmallow sounds pretty good). You’re worrying me. Nice boobs, though.

  12. Anonymous says:

Heard on Larry king, from an allie of the family, there’s some crazed guy screaming her name in the cells constantly and it’s drivin her bonkers. Poor Paris, the prize of fame these days. : )

  13. bogup says:

At this point in time I think Ms. Hilton could probably use some sympathy sex and a cookie. But then, I’ve never spent any time in the LA jail.

  14. kapgar says:

    Umm… I’m at a loss for words.

  15. Nice post. It’s never a good thing when anyone is sent to jail. Only the rare few know what it’s like to have Paris Hilton-like fame. M. Jackson knows it (at the height of his fame he was the second most recognized person in the world, second only to the Pope). Elvis had it. Anna Nicole Smith had it. Fame can be a bitch. It’s just too bad Hilton asked for it.
