Parked

Posted on Sunday, May 29th, 2005

Dave!I am so totally boring today. Though I did finally manage to get out of bed, so I suppose that's something.

Neil started a very cool Flickr tag for everybody wearing Bad Monkey shirts... if you've got a photo up, add "badmonkey" to your tags. Then go see everybody looking impossibly cool by checking it out on Flickr. If you want a Bad Monkey shirt of your own so that you can be equally cool, visit the Artificial Duck Store and get one before the price goes up. Though, I must warn you: I've run out of small and medium, so there will be a wait for those sizes until I get another batch printed up in early June (your order will ship immediately after they're available).

South Park Dave

Another fun thing before I head off to work. Kirkkitsch has a nifty entry about making your own South Park character...

South Park Dave

It's me! And now you can go make your own South Park character too.

    Just an idea, here.
Glamour Magazine has this thing where they encourage their readers to have a picture of them taken somewhere famous, while holding a Glamour.
I think we should do that with out Blogography/Bad Monkey t-shirts.

So people, next time you are at the Taj Mahal, or the London Eye, or The Chrysler Building or something, wear that t shirt and take a pic…then post it on your blog or on Flickr or something.
It’s like my Big Head pictures, kinda, but with smaller heads and t-shirts.
I’ll be in London this week, I’ll get it started.

Famous people would work too… wearing your Bad Monkey T while somebody like Britney Spears or Vice President Dick Cheney has their arm around you would be classic!

  3. karla says:

I’ll try to be wearing my BM t-shirt next time the Queen runs over me. Talk about PR!

Next time? Implying she already has?
I’d take a photo but i’m incredibly camera shy, not only that but i lent my camera to my folks for their vacation (haha i love that word) and have yet to get it back.

Usually i’ll only post a pic of myself after turning it grainy + black & white and high contrast. Hence the avatar.

Yes, Her Majesty really must hire more capable drivers for The Royal Coach. Also, Karla really should stop getting drunk and passing out on the road at the exit from Buckingham Palace.

Vacation?!? Is that like a holiday or something? 🙂

If anybody has reason to be camera shy, it’s absolutely me. So if I can put my hideous face out there for the world to see, I’m afraid there really are no excuses for you mate! (though, to be truthful, I find it convenient to hide behind my cartoon persona most of the time… so who am I to say?).

  6. karla says:

Yes I did almost get run over by the Queen’s driver…with Queen and Prince in car. On Pont Street.

And yes, I should avoid the Jaegermester and stop getting so drunk I can’t walk when I am at Buckingham Palace.. Can I help it if I have a THING for Beefeaters? Sheesh. Can’t a girl have her kinks?
