And here we are at the end of Board Game Week at Blogography.

I've talked about my favorite games, investing in gaming tables, and what social media I watch in order to keep up to date on board games (in general) and solo play (specifically). So now I guess the only thing that's left is to talk about where I store all these games I've been collecting for the past decades of my life.

The answer until recently was "In a bunch of boxes in my garage."

But then I started buying them again, and decided I needed a better place to keep them. And so I found an alcove in my guest bedroom that's a hop, skip, and a jump from my dining room gaming table, and decided to build some shelves to go in there. Which actually turned out quite nice...

I've wanted to do this for a while, but wood is so frickin' expensive that I couldn't afford it. But then I found some old IKEA shelves stacked up in the back of my garage that I forgot I had. I was able to cut shelves out of them. Mostly. Some of the scraps I had to fasten together with glue and biscuits so they would be wide enough...

The problem is... that's not even close to the number of games I have on those shelves.

There's two more big boxes in my garage.

I'd put them in the top of my closet, but that's where my Dice Throne stuff is at...

I'd put them in the hutch in my living room, but that's where my Marvel United stuff is at...

Not to mention the drawers in my hutch which have been stuffed with old long-box board games, card games, dice games, and loads of gaming supplies like card holders and dice trays.

And so I'll probably just end up putting built-ins in half of the guest room closet. Because, seriously, just how much closet space do guests need? They're not going to be staying very long, so they won't be bringing tons of clothes with them any way! And, if they do, they can just stack them up in the corner or something. Not my problem at all if they over-pack!

Yeah. YEAH. YEEEAAAHHH!

Anyway... that's Board Game Week for you. Now it's time for me to stop blogging so I can play a round of Clank! Catacombs that I've been wanting to do all day.
