Wheeeee! I'm cruising with Mickey Mouse!
I am not much of a "cruise person" as the idea of being trapped on a big boat full of idiots is not something I find relaxing or entertaining. Taking a Disney cruise is doubly heinous because being trapped on a big boat full of idiots AND THEIR KIDS sounds like a form of torture I have no intention of enduring. At least not while sober. Or conscious.
Buuuuuuut...
The reviews I've read rave about Disney, and they had an itinerary that looked interesting, so here I am.
All I can say so far is that chocolate pudding is excellent.

The idea of a cruise has never really appealed to me in the same way I couldn’t go on vacation and just sit around a swimming pool for two weeks. I used to do that when I was far younger, now I just think that’s a waste and I’d rather go see places and do things.
Mmmm…pudding. That reminds me, I was going to make some at some point this weekend.
Oops, I almost read you were cruising Mickey Mouse, what would Minny have said of that?
I’ve done an 8 day Disney cruise and I loved it. The rotating restaurant idea was cool. Make sure you make reservations for the adult only restaurant. 5 star yum! Have fun D2!
Well then… if they have chocolate pudding, nothing else will matter. Unless it’s a Disney crazed rugrat that steals the pudding before you get a chance to eat it.
Mmmmmm – chocolate pudding!!
You couldn’t pay me enough……
A bad day on vacation is still better than a good day at work. At least all the Disney people are happy, right? Chocolate pudding? Always a good thing.
Maybe it will be a big boat of nice people. 🙂
I sailed on the Magic for an Eastern Caribbean cruise and really enjoyed it. I think your itinerary will be better though! Be careful- I put on 15 pounds in 1 week on that cruise.
Have fun!
Please please please make a detailed entry about the cruise! I would love to read about your take on cruising without your own kids on a ‘family’ cruise. I love Disney and want to hit up a cruise with my cousin but not if we will look like creepy young women. PS when are you finally going to get to Australia?
The boys and I took a Disney cruise a couple of years ago. I can’t remember if we were on the Disney Wonder or the Disney Magic.
It was a great time, though I was a bit disappointed they didn’t have Walt’s frozen head on display anywhere.
Oh boy! Hooray for vacation!
I can’t help but notice that you’re on a cruise… how’d that happen?
