Thanks for taking the time to share the pics. They’ve been stunningly beautiful! Taking an Alaskan cruise is so on my list!
Those pictures pulled me right out of my reader. Awesome.
Again, these are such wonderful pictures.
This may make no sense to you… but I skipped over here from Karla the Texpatriot’s blog – and how strangely oddly right to find pictures of Alaska! This morning I was mailing boxes to Alaska and shipping off my parent’s car there. They’ve just moved back and so Alaska has been on my mind… planning a wee visit myself in January, sadly very wee… check out their new digs, see the new niece etc….So, I know it makes little actual sense, however it seemed so … well…hm.. thus, the oddness of curiously clicking on your blog link and finding myself back there!
Even my connection to Norway starts in Alaska, in college, with friends and then an exchange of mine to Norway, all rather circular! … so I am pleased to be able to read about Alaska through your eyes. And I wish you happy travels!
That’s it, dammit. I’m going on an Alaska cruise.
How beautiful, Davey Joe. It’s so cool to see ice and glaciers and all that, what with it being hot and humid over here! 🙂
How fantastic – great pictures. Now I want to go.
fucking gorgeous. i can hardly wait to get there. so glad you are enjoying it for me until i can!
I love your pictures. But love isn’t even a strong enough word for it. They are just so beautiful that I imagine what you see in person must be even more breathtaking.
dave-o-sketch says “probably” – I asked if I was jealous that Dave2 was having an incredible vacay :o) the photos are amazing, keep sharing please.
Amazing photos. And photos don’t ever do the scene justice so I can only imagine what it must be like to actually be there.
Dave!!! All your trip images are incredible ~ I especially like the first photo of trees in yesterday’s post: “Day Four: Skagway.”
Curious, will you seeing the Aurora Borealis on your cruise? I’m assuming you’re getting internet service on the ship – is it included or an expensive extra?
Thanks for sharing and have fun on your vacation!!!
So, so gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
damn, now I have to add another place to my list.
Absolutely stunning, gorgeous, and those glaciers aren’t bad either.
What an amazing trip and fantastic photos! I am jealous like hell 🙂
I just love that brilliant blue color.
These have to be some of the most beautiful photos I’ve seen. I hate the cold but would kill to be there with you taking pictures!
