Yesterday was freezing rain and hail. Today was flawless blue skies with not a cloud to be found.
And yet it was today I found out a data backup with some critical files was corrupted. This kind of defeats the purpose of a backup, so now I'm trying to find a way of keeping a backup to my backup. That should be loads of fun. Almost as fun as filing my taxes, which I finally got around to doing today. Every year I am more and more amazed at how unbelievably complicated they make it to pay taxes (with or without teabagging). Even with tax preparation software prompting me every step of the way, it was still much more difficult and painful than it should be.
Oh well, it's all over now.
Until next year.

I’m sorry, did you say something important? All I heard was “teabagging”.
😉
You should have teabagged Obama!
hate to hear of a corrupted backup – that hurts! And on tax day, no less! Double Suckage!
I noticed that on April 12th you had a beard… and now in your photos it’s gone…
I loved the L@@K…
Those are older photos. I don’t take a new photo every day. 🙂
Someone said TEABAGGING!?!?!:)
I remember the first time I filed taxes after I moved to the US. I couldn’t believe how impossibly complicated it was. That was in the days before Turbo Tax and we did it all on paper by hand. Good times. NOT.
Ugh. Corrupt backups ruin everything.
Oh… and congrats on finishing your taxes. As farmers, we have to file March 1. 🙁
We can sympathize. I don’t know if it’s a ploy to employ more tax preparation specialists, or what, but we’re somewhat intelligent folks and it was challenging to get everything right… Especially since we wanted to be sure we were taking every deduction available to us. Next year, when we have a bouncing baby deduction, I can only imagine taxes will become yet more complicated.
My state refund came in the mail yesterday. It took a bit of to sting out of having rainy skies.
Once in a while I’ll make a backup of a backup — and then I have to wonder … where does it stop?
The difference between death and taxes is that you don’t have to die every year.
Ya I don’t do taxes. I’m still claimed as a dependent so I fill out 3 lines and I’m done. Apparently being an adult sucks.
