  1. Rik says:

Why can’t I push the button?

  2. Avitable says:

Reminds me of a great Challenger joke:

What was the last thing Christa McAuliffe said?

    “What does this button do?”

  3. James says:

Doooooo it. Push it! You must! For thou art Bad Monkey! If you don’t push it you’ll have to be called Good Monkey, and no one wants that.

  4. Hilly says:

I have this feeling that Bad Monkey and I are thinking the exact same thing….and would do the same thing!

  5. iddly says:

Go on Bad Monkey PUSH the button!!!

  6. kazza says:

arghh! I need to press the button!

  7. carlos says:

“It’s the history-eraser button, you fool!”

    “But what’ll happen?”

“Maybe something bad. Maybe something good. I guess we’ll never know, because you’re going to guard it. You won’t touch it will you?”

  8. The Chad says:

    I’D TOTALLY PUSH IT!!!

  9. Baak says:

    Ok – I’ll admit it… I’m a “do-not-push-this-button–button-pusher” kind o’ guy.

I just want to know how many people actually end up trying to push that button.

    P.S. I did! 😀

  10. Neil T. says:

Nothing happens when I push it 🙁

  11. karla says:

    But…but…but…
The button is RED. And it’s ROUND. And it’s STARING AT ME. It WANTS ME TO PUSH IT.

Ouch, this is causing me physical pain, this not pushing the button.

  12. ~jtm says:

I thought we had an interactive post this morning… I so wanted to push that button.

  13. christie says:

You won a RFS Blog Award!
    Woot!

  14. Lewis says:

Bad boys (err, ahh, I mean monkeys) always push the button….after contemplating, considering, and a scratch of the head. Oh, and by the way, don’t smoke weed, drink, go to bed late, skip school, eat junk food, or hang around bad monkeys either. Don’t do it!

  15. Andy says:

what a tease not making it pushable.

  16. Roberta says:

I feel for the monkey, but I don’t think I would push it. I don’t even think I’d be tested.
This thing is like a Rorshach test. Rorshach button. Rorshach blog.

  17. Roberta says:

Tempted. I meant to say tempted. Not tested. Dammit! I am three sips into my first cup of coffee.

  18. holygirl427 says:

I pushed it and the power went off in my apartment for a few seconds. Please disable this ability going forward.

  19. MRKisThatKid says:

Hey, they wouldn’t have made it big and red if they didn’t want it to be fondled.

  20. bogup says:

This was a test. If the sign said, “Press this button” Bad Monkey (BM) wouldn’t press it. As it is, BM wants to press it because he is told not to. All because he is a BM…
Methinks I’ll wear my BM T-shirt today. All because my wife wouldn’t want me to wear it.

  21. Wayne says:

is the button “luck”? Because you’re pushing it now.

  22. plink says:

That button should have a link attached to it. You know we pushed it.

  23. Rick says:

And whatever you do… don’t think about pink elephants while you’re deciding. Totally screws the whole thing up!

  24. Fogspinner says:

What!? The %*(@#^( thing isn’t pushable? *Sigh* I right clicked anyway. Hey I learned from Adam never click link without checking it out first. Could be donkey porn ya know.

  25. Mike says:

Is someone pushing your button, Dave?

  26. diane says:

Oh man, you know I had the same reaction as everyone else.
    Jerk.
(“don’t push the button, button bad”–Walt, on LOST)

  27. Iron Fist says:

Do it, Bad Monkey! Do it!

  28. Tracy Lynn says:

    PUSH IT. PUSH.THE.BUTTON. PUSH IT!

  29. Jill says:

Hmmmm… Is this the computer/virtual version of the Garden of Eden? Apples are round and red, too 🙂

  30. I’m keeping my puppy home today…

  31. brandon says:

    THAT’S NOT A BUTTON! IT’S A GLORYHOLE FOR LEGOPEOPLE!

my god, if you get that, i will have no respect for you.

  32. Cheeseycom says:

Funny how a simple picture gets more comments than some of your recent full-length posts =)

That’s the power of curiosity for you..

  33. So, is this going to be one of those multiple-drawings-over-several-days posts or are you just winding up all of your readers? ‘Cause you know we’re all the type to push the button, otherwise we wouldn’t be here reading you, would we?

  34. Dave2 says:

Actually, it never occurred to me that anybody would try to push the button. Because it’s not a button… it’s a cartoon drawing!

I had an important decision to make yesterday, and thought it would be nice if somebody else had a big decision too.

Even if it was just a fictional monkey.

  35. Catherine says:

I was hoping that when I clicked on the red button, my desktop PC would turn into a Mac laptop. You never know. You are pretty good at those drawings.

  36. Avitable says:

I hope your important decision ends up working out for you.

  37. kapgar says:

    So did you? Er… monkey?

  38. Jacki says:

I feel so totally stupid now. It never occured to me to try to push the button. I may have missed out on something good.
Can people do exercises to exercise and improve their curiosity?

  39. Melanie says:

Are you a Terry Pratchett fan? 🙂 This little toon reminds me of the wizards of Ankh-Morpork.

  40. Chase says:

I pushed the button and my bra came undone. What the hey?
