I once again forgot about my blogiversary... Blogography turned 12 years old on the 18th.
Not that I blame me. Now that blogs are essentially dead, blogiversaries are not what they used to be. Back in the day when 50 comments on every entry was the norm and the blogging community was strong, I'd count down the days until my blogiversary and have week-long contests with fabulous prizes. Fun times ensued, and I'd energized enough about blogging to carry me through to the next year's celebration.
Those were the days.
So...
A dozen years posting stupid shit to the internet.
Yay, me.
I love comments! However, all comments are moderated, and won't appear until approved. Are you an abusive troll with nothing to contribute? Don't bother. Selling something? Don't bother. Spam linking? Don't bother.
PLEASE NOTE: My comment-spam protection requires JavaScript... if you have it turned off or are using a mobile device without JavaScript, commenting won't work. Sorry.
Congratulations and lots of respect for your incredible persistence. I always enjoy reading your posts even if I rarely comment on them.
Congratulations! I’m a long time reader (via a feed reader) and rarely ever comment. However I am one of your no doubt many appreciative but quiet audience. Blogs might be dead but I still like them better than Facebook or Twitter. 🙂
Maybe 50 mets on each and every entry was *your* norm. I’ve never known that. Except when you guestblogged. Happy belated one.
You’re having a good run … keep it going!
Happy blogiversary from someone who still blogs…
i read you daily….i just may not post. You are funny inciteful (CAN”T SPELL) and pretty interesting. Yea you indeed!
Aw. It’s been a dozen years of you entertaining us (well, I was late to the game, but you know what I mean). Think of it that way : ).
Happy blogiversary!
Thanks for the many year of interesting posts.
Happy belated blogiversary. And thank you for not giving up on your blog.
i must like stupid shit because i love your blog.
🙂
Happy Blogiversay. I remember one time I got 20 or so comments circa 2008 ish and thought that was amazing. These days everything is different. Long term bloggers hang up their hat. Some, like me, pivot and do something not really blogging in any sense. But you’re one of the few truly consistent bloggers left. Still read everything you write. Perhaps week or so later, but I still read.
Happy Blogiversary (more belated than your post). 12 years is a nice long run. I expect to be reading over the next 8 years when you are ranting about how OS X Tree Limb just borked Photoshop CCXX
