Well that was a great evening.
I have to say... Ann Wilson, Nancy Wilson, and the rest of Heart still got it. As does Def Leppard... which made last night's double-bill especially amazing...
As for today? BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS, BABY!
It only got better from there.

I missed Def Leppard when they were over in Tulsa. I keep hoping they’ll end up somewhere close by again.
I must say I was impressed. I guess after 20+ years of practice, you are just good at what you do!
SO AWESOME!
Heart in concert?! So jealous.
Woohoooo! Looks like you’re having a lot of fun!!
Ann and Nancy don’t need no stinkin’ voice transfiguration microphones. Perfect pitch and actual talent. What a concept…
Oh if I knew you were a heart fan I could have gotten you some autographs! A friend of mine was their opening act for their tour though Canada!
awesome! i saw the leppard a few years ago at music midtown. it was excellent.
I am not ashamed to admit that one of the few 80s bands that have retained my deep, abiding love is Def Leppard. It makes me genuinely happy that they and their one-armed percussion section are still rocking people’s faces off live.
I saw Def Leppard and Heart at the end of August and the show was good, although we had some technical problems that made the vocal fill in for Joe Elliot’s high notes not synced very well. It was an outdoor venue, so that could have been a contributing factor.
But Heart’s set was unaffected and Ann’s voice and Nancy’s guitar work was flawless. So very much enjoyed them.
