If you’re going to Maui there’s a great place for breakfast in Kihei called the Kihei Cafe. It’s a time warp with hippies still there from the 60’s who’ve never left. They’ve got a good selection of veggie offerings. My favorite was the banana macadamia nut pancakes w/coconut syrup. I suppose their other stuff was good, too but, I was off touristing during the day.
i forgot to tell you…if you like sushi there is the most amazing little place near the airport. there is a giant conveyor belt running through the place and you site down right at it. like a moving buffet kinda thing. delish! i’m pretty sure i remember vegetarian sushi roll things moving past…
Oooh I am jealous! My grandma lives on Molokai, but I have only been twice (well three time but once I was an infant and I really remember absolutely nothing of that trip.)
