I am not comfortable wearing glasses (or skin-tight leather pants, which I'll save that for another time).
But when I'm working 20-hour days, my eyes start rebelling against my contact lenses, giving me no choice but to wear my stupid glasses or walk around bumping into things. Either way, I'm not at my best.
Not that I care all that much, because there was a power outage, and all my clocks are blinking "12:00" (noon or midnight... I'm not sure) which is a slightly bigger problem.
Though not quite as insurmountable as the 262 entries awaiting me in my feed-reader tonight.
Sigh. One day left...

I’ve been wearing my glasses a lot more often this summer than I have in the past. The smoke is unbearable with contacts in. I’m sure you’ll be fine in San Diego, but if your meet & greet was in NorCal, we’d have to have a nerdy glasses fashion show!
Poor Dave! Work is sucking in my world too. Too much of it to do and not enough hours in the day. At least the weekend will be here soon, and much deserved fun!

honey go find a new pair of glasses! you would like them better if you thought you looked good in them. in my humble opinion you need something a little more square- it brings out the square lines of your chin and makes you look more masculine- and get some frames that pop. thick, dark etc. having glasses that are trying to look un-noticeable makes one look frumpy – having glasses that stand out makes one look fun and risk taking.
Does this mean you won’t be wearing leather pants at Davecago 3?
Please, you’d look good in glasses (or none), tight leather pants (or none)….. I think it’s just your natural body heat coming through. And I just eyeballed my feeds a day or two ago and discovered 300+ to read. Sigh.
Maybe you need new frames for those glasses? Something more comfortable, that won’t slide down your nose all day, perhaps?
