Two weeks ago, I sliced open my finger while putting together some steel shelving. Today I jabbed an X-ACTO knife into my thumb... hard. Surprisingly, there wasn't much blood, but it still hurt a lot. Fate must really have it in for my fingers. And thumbs.
Or maybe I'm just really clumsy.
Though I'm sure there's a much more logical explanation than that...

Awww, poor bad monkey, he gets blamed for everything.
Wait…so did you plan today’s cartoon with yesterday’s cartoon..and fate just decided to write the story for you?
Michelle… Probably because he’s bad! He’s a bad, bad monkey! 🙂
James… Nope! In fact, I actually had to redraw the strings on yesterday’s DaveToon so they would match up to the one today (originally they were straight up and down). It’s strange how that happens sometimes (the last time was a series that started here). As I was writing about how there “must be a more logical explanation,” it suddenly occurred to me that this is exactly what I was talking about yesterday, and so I decided to continue the cartoon. Kind of spiffy, if I do say so myself!
My The World Hates Me posts always come off as depressed and self centered.
Yours turn into artistic brilliance.
How the hell do you pull that off??
That sounds like my store I posted in the comments of your cutting your finger story.
You know that I love you, think you are brilliant and am sorry that you hurt your thumb but…
I’ve now got “I’m Not Your Puppet” stuck in my head for the day!
I KNEW Bad Monkey was trouble!
Dude, that monkey is going to be your demise. You need to stop hanging out with him.
Wha–? Bad Monkey is the Supreme Being? Dude, we’re screwed.
Yep, I can see it.
