Neither my hotel in Florence or my hotel in Venice has internet access. On top of that, there isn't a place I can use my computer for internet (only public terminals), so I guess I'll just have to store all my entries up and post them when I get back to Rome. It's quite strange how some places seem quite content to pretty much ignore the internet entirely.

Dave! Dave! I just saw, with mine own eyes, a HARD ROCK CAFE being built, yes, actually physically built, in Oslo!!!! I seen it! I seen it!
The bad news is, they took out my favorite internet cafe of all time to build it, but it’s going great guns and should be finished soon.
It’s due to open December 2005. I’m not sure whether we will still be here then, but if we are, you’ve totally got a place to crash.
Number one I hate you because I wish I was there.
Number 2: I’m glad that you are having a great time, and I hope that you have a blast throughout the entire trip! Be safe!
I’m shocked… Would have guessed all the major cities had internet all around!
The Hard Rock Oslo has been a long time coming. It was announced ages ago, but then scuttled because the groupd who has the cafes in Stockholm and Gothenburg were saying they had rights for all of Scandinavia, and if a Hard Rock were to be built in Oslo, THEY would be the ones to do it (or something like that). I have no idea how that all worked out, but apparently somebody got their crap in order.
Good news for Oslo then!
Hurry up and find an internet cafe. I miss my daily blog!!
Glad all is going well. Looks like we could be on for a Gothenburg – Oslo run 🙂
BE GOOD!!
I was so happy when I found out that they were building a new HardRock Cafe in my little town, but something went wrong and now it’s going to be a 50’s diner called..”Studebaker”…..Oh well the 50’s rule anyway!!!!!!!
