FridayQ: Pet

Posted on Friday, April 22nd, 2005

Dave!Any pets as a kid? I had a beautiful black cat named "Midnight." As far as pets go, he was pretty cool.

Any pets now? Unfortunately, no. My travel schedule is such that I wouldn't be able to properly care for a pet if I were to have one (which would be a German Shepherd dog). Of course, there's always Oscar... he's kind of a pet.

Name your favorite famous pet from television or movies. "Brian" from "The Family Guy." Not only is he a dog that can speak and walk on two legs, but he is also a smartass that drinks martinis. What more could you want in a pet?

FQ BEST FRIEND: If money and legality were not a barrier, what exotic animal would you like as a pet? A voracious Tiger that eats people on command.

No leash is required at the FridayQ.

Movie Quotable of the Day: "Let me see if I have this correct... it's an 8-foot creature of some kind with acid for blood, and it arrived on your spaceship. It kills on sight, and is generally unpleasant."
Day-Before-Yesterday's Answer: Once Bitten (1985) with Jim Carrey and Lauren Hutton.

The movie is one of the Alien Flicks. I’m going with Aliens — but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen any of them.

Well, I saw AVP the other day — but it doesn’t really count.

    Just… one… number… short…

    :-)

And you are right, Suck-ass AvP does NOT count. Yargh! Bleh!

    BTW Dave,

I found a reference to ecto on your site. I wasn’t familiar with the program but took a look at it.

I’d been typing everything up in Word or OpenOffice and then doing a spell check. I had my blogs organized by folder. Ecto made everything easier.

I paid for it after two days.

I thought you’d want to know the influence you have over people’s shopping habits. Dale Carnegie would be proud.

  4. Dave2 says:

The more you use ecto, the more powerful it becomes. I’ve customized it completely, so just about everything is automated… from my stationary pads to the way my images are posted to the way my HTML is handled.

It is wholly remarkable software that makes blogging effortless. I’m glad you enjoy it as much as I do!

  5. Ben says:

    I less then three Oscar.

  6. Dave2 says:

I would hope that you have less than three Oscars!!

In fact, you had better have ZERO Oscars, because if I look out on my deck to find him missing I will be very cross. Very cross indeed!

    :-D

Oscar is pretty lovable is he not? I need to take a new photo because he’s grown a little bit.

  7. ssp says:

No / No / Alf or Wanda / Panda (smart-ass martini drinking ones preferred)

  8. Ben says:

I’m all for a iloveoscar fan club, a e’zine, blogring.

Think hello kitty, only in organic colours.
