While I've never actually experienced crack cocaine, I continue to imagine that it must be very much like eating a bowl of "Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes" from Taco Bell. For the past six months, I have been physically unable to drive past a Taco Bell without stopping and buying a bowl (or three). On occasion, I've even been known to make a special trip into Wenatchee with the sole intent of purchasing Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and nothing more (that's a 40-minute round-trip). I've written about this before, but right now I am on a Cheesy Fiesta Potato high, and felt the need to share (share my being high, not my taters, so keep your hands to yourself).
A pity that they're so horrendously bad for your health.
But hopefully a bit better than crack cocaine.
I guess when I start holding up convenience stores and selling myself on the street to pay for my Cheesy Fiesta Potato fix, I'll know for sure.

Those things rock! Sorry about the drive, I get bent having to drive 15 mins!
First the Hard Rock visits, then Mars Delights and now Taco Bell. Boy when you get hooked on something you stay loyal.
Why don’t you open a HRC in Seattle that sells Mars Delights and has a Tacho Bell outlet as a sub business!
I have a similar addiction *that’s the first step: admittance* to a soup I make called Fiesta Chicken Soup. After I have a bowl, I must have a few moments alone. I’m willing to share the recipe if you aren’t too bogged down with addictions.
I will buy you powerbook over you for the cost of one ‘bowl’ of those ‘taters.
You know you want too.
Ordinarily, I wouldn’t want to drive over 15 minutes myself… but these ARE Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes we’re talking about here! Sadly, I don’t think even a Mars Delight would placate me now (though I wouldn’t turn one down, if you know what I’m saying!).
I am sitting here in the Seattle airport after having just walked by the Taco Bell which is closed for remodeling. Yes, just now I would gladly trade my PowerBook for a bowl (I’m in need of an upgrade anyway).
Ummm… since I don’t have my Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes… can that Fiesta Chicken Soup be made without the chicken? And do you know where I can find the ingredients here at the airport? 🙂
