I was browsing through iPhoto looking for a picture I took of a sleepy cat when I noticed a tendency I have to snap photos of interesting textures. I never really thought of it before because they are always scattered amongst dozens of other shots. But, thanks to iPhoto, I can easily create an album of just the textures which ended up being pretty cool. A few of my favorites...

I do this too! I realise this is an old post – I am new to Blogography and was killing time over a cuppa. I have a vertiable plethora of similar texture shots in amongst my travel pictures – those and images depicting repetition. Always put it down to being singularly anal-retentive in a particularly frightening, parentally inflicted kinda way…. In quieter anonymous moments (like this one) I will admit to finding images of texture soothing… though I know not why 😐
