DON'T FORGET: There's still time to enter the Bullet Sunday 100 contest in yesterday's entry! Fabulous prizes from The Artificial Duck Co. Store can be yours, but you must enter a comment to win!
And speaking of not forgetting...
Davestin 2008 is THIS FRIDAY! If you were wanting to attend and haven't gotten an email from myself or Karla, please let me know! We want to make sure that the reservation count is correct.
Food allergies are kicking my ass lately, which is putting a serious crimp on my lifestyle.
As usual, there's no telling what's the cause of it, though I'm leaning towards peanuts again. The entire time I was in Hawaii I had
Here's hoping.
Because while the sleep may be nice, waking up in a drugged-out stupor is not. I kind of need my brain to get through the day.

I would so cry if I couldn’t eat peanut butter… fingers crossed it’s something else… maybe strawberries???? I could live w/o strawberries!
Ouch on the allergies. If I didn’t live over a thousand miles away, I’d join you for Davestin, but I happen to be cooped up in good ol’ PA right now. One of these days I’ll make it to a Dave meet-up.
Uncrustables are so awesome too! Do you think you will give them up now?
Brains are overrated sometimes.
I hope you are feeling better soon! This must be really frustrating for you!
Oh man, I really hope you figure out what’s causing those allergies. It took me a year to figure mine out, but you shouldn’t suffer that long! Ugh.
Cut out the peanuts just to be safe and have some fun in Austin!
I would have a hard time living without peanuts.
I’m sorry about the food allergies 🙁
I read that as Unscrutables, and, intrigued, I wondered where I could buy them. Guess who else is in a Benadryl-induced stupor?
Dave:
That sounds terrible! I hope things settle down for you soon and you can get back to enjoying food. Best wishes!
Nothing like giving away free stuff to get everyone’s attention, eh, Dave? In the past year I don’t remember anywhere near that big a turnout.
I certainly hope you’re not allergic to peanuts. I can’t imagine life w/o ’em but, if you are, maybe you could substitute cashew butter…I haven’t tried it but, I imagine that it’s got to be the “peanut-butter-of-the-gods”
So wish I could go to this, but given the fact that I have a major work project that I can’t leave during the week, I will stay and wait for the pictures and blog posts.
I’m sorry Dave! I hope your feeling better and that means no more welts! That must really suck….stay away from PB dude!!
Darn, and I was hoping to get a good shot of that “enlarged tongue” you had experienced while traveling.
