Today was a very bad day.
I'd go into detail, but reliving it all for the sake of this blog would probably have me sticking my head in a microwave and pressing "defrost." Suffice to say that I had entirely too much to do, and most all of it went wrong at some point or another. I am not a very emotional person, but I was so overrun with despair that the idea of breaking down and crying seemed like one of the best options available to me. I dunno. Maybe it's because I'm suffering from exhaustion or something.
In an effort to salvage what's left of the day, I've decided to make a list of all the good things that happened.
I guess another piece of good news is that I finally know what 1000 decks of cards in one place look like. I've got cases and cases and cases stacked in every corner of my home...
Time to pack...

I’m sorry your day sucked Dave, but you just so totally made my day .. I can see my cards! 🙂
Cheers
Charlie
Keep plugging on through Dave. Enjoy Comic Con!
Can’t wait to receive my order from the store, the cards look brilliant.
Yeah for cards! *Doing the happy “I’m going to get my Artificial Duck order soon” dance*
Sorry your day sucked. Mine did too, if that’s any consolation. But you’re going to Comic Con, yes?! *pft!* With my all seeing eye, I see much more to enjoy in your next few days than in mine. And if you don’t start getting happy about that I might have to kick your ass myself. And by “kick your ass” I really mean give you my Librarian-Over-The-Glasses-Look. So get some sleep, damnit and start enjoying yourself.
Go find Mew at ComicCon and make her finish the T-shirt design!
Oh wow… I’m sorry your day brought you to tears and I’m glad Comic-Con will be cheering you up soon!
Cards! Cards! Cards!
I join the happy dance!
Thank god you didn’t explode.
It must be something in the air, as I myself have very nearly taken out numerous innocent bystanders and inanimate objects this week with my crummy moods and overall bad day-ness. I hope the Comic Con and Dave Diego is a much needed respite for you!!
And yay for Spaced and Simon Pegg! I just started watching it on BBC America – Good stuff!
(((HUGS))) for your crappy day.
Simon Pegg rocks.
Yay! The cards!
The cards look awesome! I can’t wait to get them! Hope you have a good time at ComicCon
I wonder what exploded Dave looks like? Oh, well. I’d rather you don’t explode or implode or any plode. I’m glad the cards finally arrived too. Big load off your mind there.
YAY! Spaced! I met Simon Pegg the other day! He was in NY to promote the DVD release…. such a nice guy!

I liked Pegg in the two movies I’ve seen him in, and I just watched the upcoming Star Trek trailer and was scanning through the cast list (looking for Matt Damon) but saw Pegg’s name and evidently he’s Scotty! How cool will that be?
Hurray! The cards have come! The cards have come!
I think there is just something in the ozone layer this week. I’m happy the cards have finally come in because I’m looking forward to playing Rummy 500 and Go Fish with the girls. It just wouldn’t be the same with a plain old deck of cards. I am sorry that your living space is now cramped by a ton of playing cards.
And please, do not stick your head in the microwave unless it is dual convection/microwave oven. It’s much more gentle and it also takes care of any jacktards that may be interfering with inner peace and harmony.
cards… simon pegg… and exploding dave… I think I just came a lil’bit!
I. Am. SO. Excited. ToGetMyPlayingCards!
