Snowed

Posted on Saturday, December 1st, 2007

Dave!GAH! SNOW!! LOTS OF SNOW!!!

Well this should make driving home tomorrow a big boat-load of fun...

Snowy Passes

I really don't like the snow. Why do I still live in Washington?

Eh, we're going to order in dinner and try to forget about the weather altogether.

Now you’re just trying to make me jealous (about the snow).. Please don’t die…

  2. kapgar says:

But just remember that by ordering food and staying in the relative safety of your apartment, you are putting some poor delivery guy’s life at risk. And you call yourself a lover of your fellow man. For shame!

  3. sizzle says:

i love the snow but…only when i am inside and don’t have plans to drive anywhere. i don’t like driving in it.

why do you still live in washington? 😉

  4. Miss Britt says:

Yeah, you should definitely come back to Florida.

  5. Tracie says:

It’s funny how those who get snow all the time don’t like it but those of us who don’t are sooo envious. Today all we got was snail. And last year we got dippin’ dots.

  6. The Chad says:

Snow is wonderful. I miss it so.

Try moving down here to Portland. You’ll only get 2 inches a year, and when ya do, the entire city shuts down.

  7. Kittymoose says:

That looks an awful lot like Wisconsin. We just had a winter storm, ice and rain and ice rain and snow, and ick. I had to push the car into our parking spot.

  8. bogup says:

Wait until the afternoon at least. And hopefully travel Snoqualmie rather than Stevens Pass. It is going to be a terrible trip on either tomorrow… Not just the snow, but the potential for avalanches.

  9. Avitable says:

Yeah, it’s 80 degrees here and I have the windows open. You should just move here.

  10. margalit says:

Honestly, I’ve been wondering that for years. OK, I get that Cashmere must be wicked cheap to live in, but the driving you do would make me absolutely insane, especially since you live so far from an actual national/international airport and you travel constantly.

Have you considered moving to an airline hub? Your life would probably be so much more manageable if you didn’t have to drive so much.

  11. Wht says:

I love snow, just not big on driving in it.

  12. Mr. Fabulous says:

Florida is definitely the place to be. We’re only allowing a few more cool bloggers in, so I’d hurry if I were you.

  13. ambrosia says:

After a long time of glancing at your posts (it’s amazing how many times you show up in google searches that have nothing to to with what I’m searching for….and then I inevitably get drawn in…), it just recently dawned on me that you live about 12 miles from me.

    That made me laugh.

  14. the patient says:

Oh, that’s snow in the ‘toon. For the longest time, I just thought that the image only half loaded….

  15. Wayne says:

Reminds me of my favorite fast food holiday song.

Lettuce, no! Lettuce, no! Lettuce, no!

  16. Iron Fist says:

You could move to Portland. Instead of snow we just have depressing levels of non-stop, really freezing ass cold rain. Kind of like today. Did I mention there’s freezing-ass rain here?

  17. Troy says:

Same thing happened here last night – I ask myself the same question (but substitute Canada for Washington). Stupid snow.

  18. bogup says:

    Gah!!! is right
6:30 PM and 18 degrees on Stevens Pass, 25 degrees on Snoqualmie Pass AND snowing hard on both. Gah!!!

  19. Monica Hernandez says:

You should come live in California!

I don’t think I’ve ever even seen snow in my entire life… *thinks*
nope. never. only in movies :-/

  20. the patient says:

Well now I’m confused, ’cause the toon seems to be revised, though without any credit to my feedback. Did I miss something?

  21. ChillyWilly says:

“I really don’t like the snow. Why do I still live in Washington?”

For the last 20 years, I’ve asked that very same question about my residence in Utah.

Growing up in Southern Calif (Orange County… Garden Grove, to be exact), it amazes me that each and every year winter hits, I wonder why I am still in Utah.
