And here I am back in Seoul, Korea. I am most fortunate that I don't really have a problem with jet-lag... my body just mysteriously seems to adjust to whatever time zone I am in. Though I cannot deny being totally exhausted, because 22 hours of travel will do that to you. Now the challenge is to stay awake for another three hours so that I don't wake up at 2am tomorrow morning. It's a weird, wild life I lead.
The weather here has entered into some kind of funky perpetual haze as sunset falls...
All big cities are starting to look the same to me. If I didn't know where I was, it might take me a minute to figure it out from just a quick glance out my window. The cathedral there just confuses things.
And now I'm off to Dunkin' Donuts for a quick bite before retiring for the evening.
Yet, for New Orleans, the day is just beginning. Assuming I can get to sleep knowing what is going to happen there, the storm is projected to hit the city as I wake up. All my hopes now hinge on seeing the city again some day...

Looks like it’s all ok. Most of it went east, towards Gulfport, where Camille hit the first time. Good thing my grandparents are dead. They would hvae lost their house a second time.

It’s only the first pair of underwear which I am wearing for the first flight that are falling apart… everything else is new. I would be too embarrassed to have airport security see anything else!
Dunkin’ Donuts are quite good here in Seoul… and very popular, as you can find them everywhere. They are not quite as sweet as the donuts found back home. Of course, they have Starbucks as well, but the more popular coffee shop here is called “Coffee Bean.”
I used to get jet lag quite badly. But then I was traveling between time zones continuously, and my body suddenly gave up. The fact that I sleep so little probably helps as well.
Traveling as I do can be interesting, but it is also very tiring after a while. Donuts were good (as always here), but today was a work-day so I did not make it to the Hard Rock. Perhaps tomorrow. However, the “privatized” HRC here is often closed for personal events, which means you can’t always get in. I’ve been there before, so I am not quite so traumatized anymore!
