Juicy

Posted on Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

Dave!I'm in a little bit of a snarky mood tonight.

And that's making it tough to blog, because saying what's actually on my mind would bring me nothing but trouble. Especially since I ran across some reeeeeaally juicy information about a total asshole who has been badmouthing me to cover his own ass. So now I'm in the unique position of being able to humiliate somebody who totally deserves it, all while eliminating a thorn in my side at the same time. But, alas, I'm just not evil enough to press the button. Sure I like to try evil on occasion... but I don't think I'm ready to turn pro and go full-time...

Try Evil!

So I hold my peace.

Resist temptation.

Take the high road.

Be the bigger man.

The better person.

The nice guy.

And try not to regret that I'm not more evil. Because how will I ever conquer the planet if I can't crush my enemies?

Oh well.

In other news... there's an interesting observation over at Ain't It Cool News...

CW darling "Gossip Girl" pulled 2.1 million total viewers last night, while the final season of the CW's "Veronica Mars" averaged 2.5 million viewers three seasons back.

So The CW cancels Veronica Mars, one of the best shows ever to air on television, and is now doing worse in the ratings with their hottest new show. Well, good. It couldn't happen to a nicer network.

Oooh. I'm more than just a little snarky tonight!

  1. Jeff says:

Oh, just fuck it Dave and press the button.

    He deserves it.

Do you know what happens to those who:

    So I hold my peace.

    Resist temptation.

    Take the high road.

    Be the bigger man.

    The better person.

    The nice guy.????

They get fucked. In a way they don’t like.

Toss the Buddhism aside and try evil tonight.

Let me know how it feels, ’cause I haven’t the guts to try it.

    Yet.

    I’ll see how you do.

BTW, good luck on conquering the planet.

    Someone has to.

I can’t think of a nicer guy than you to do so.

Wait a minute, how the hell does that work?

I’ll get back to you on that……

  2. Robin says:

You should totally read “The 33 Strategies of War” by Robert Greene….that is, if you haven’t read it already or if you are into that sort of thing. Judging by what is going on with you, it fits right up your alley.

I have used some of his strategies to completely cream people….not only did they not realize what was happening, but they also never saw it coming.

Evil doesn’t have to be “evil”….

  3. Sue says:

Those ratings were funny to see. I got sick of Heroes in the second season when the story went WAY off track and then later when people who should have died came back… as somebody else. Ugh. These are the Days of our Lives, eh?

  4. undisciplined says:

Heh, don’t you know that crushing your enemies is a full THIRD of what is best in life?

  5. Hilly says:

Every time I seriously want to bring someone to their knees, I think of you and your never-ending ability to take the high road.

You’ve helped me learn to stay classy. I love that about you and know that you can totally see past your snark this time too.

Still, is it unclassy if *I* cut that bitch FOR you? 😉

  6. kapgar says:

YES, you are evil enough! I have faith in you, my friend. Be the evil you can be! C’mon, all together now… YES YOU CAN!

Unless I’m the one who pissed you off. Then it’s “no you can’t.” Really, I just don’t want to know.

  7. Try evil…… totally feeling that one!!!!

  8. Avitable says:

Yeah, I read that, too. They didn’t realize what a good thing they had going with Veronica Mars. Fuckers.

  9. B.E. Earl says:

    Press.
    The.
    Button.

    You will feel better.

(OK, maybe not. But I’m all for humiliating someone who deserves it. Unless that someone is me, of course)

  10. christie says:

I commend you. I’ve never been able to take the high road and not say anything.

  11. I often wonder why it seems like no matter how long you travel the high road, it is always an uphill climb.

  12. Sybil Law says:

I will gladly do the evil deed FOR you, because it pisses me off royally to think someone’s messing with you in any way! But I totally get your reluctance to sink to their level.
    Stupid life!
    🙂

  13. Sizzle says:

If only more people were like you, friend.

  14. claire says:

I watched a few stray eps of S2 of Veronica Mars and then felt compelled to watch the season over from the beginning. Love that sassy- and hey, snarky- teen detective!

  15. Jacki says:

    Now I am snarky!

Yet CW keeps heralding it as their success story?? I want more VM – but I don’t at the same time – what if it’s not the same? Is bad VM better than no VM? Plus even though I swore and pelted objects at the time – it was a great ending to the show.

    You’re a marshmallow David Simmer!
